Perimeta AI — Offline-First Sovereign AI Appliance

Perimeta AI is a sovereign intelligence appliance: an AI and knowledge system that runs entirely within an organisation’s physical environment, with no cloud dependencies, no telemetry, and full local data control. Built on a FastAPI backend, React frontend, Ollama and ChromaDB AI engine, and deployable on Raspberry Pi 5 or NVIDIA Jetson hardware, it is designed for high-security sectors and organisations in low-connectivity settings where cloud-based AI is either unavailable, unaffordable, or politically untenable. Perimeta AI is both a product and a provocation: it embodies an argument about who gets to own their own information and intelligence, and what it takes to build AI that works for organisations outside the Global North’s infrastructure assumptions.
